Three teenagers are selected to go through the Naked In School Program at the same time—instead, they go through it together.
Amber Yates is a therapist working on Sierra OneOne. Her task is to help the newly discovered Fingrik transition into society with humans. Sometimes transiting can be quite pleasurable.

Part of 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover
RichardGerald and I wrote this jointly for Bebop and Nora's "50 Ways to Leave your Lover" event. Since one of those options is a bus, we modeled our story on the classic Hollywood 'meet cute' film "It Happened One Night." Which means that we changed the characters, swapped the sexes, radically altered the plot, and wrote a whole new story. But we DID think about the film while we were trashing it. So as the pitchmen would say: It's exactly like the original except on a train and....
It's raining, the fishing's screwed up from all the fresh water, so Buddy takes his boat to go help with rescue efforts from massive flooding. You can find a lot of things in a flooded town.
A Wonders of My World Story Based on a true story! Two things are indisputably true: 1) I took a trip around the world. 2) Alice thought I was having the time of her life. This is the story Alice wanted to hear about my travels through Asia and Europe. Only the names, places, and events have been changed to protect me--I mean, the innocent--and to keep several beautiful women from hunting me down to tell the world I'm a liar! Or worse. There are no cliffhangers.
The single parents only intended to chaperone their kids on a date or two, but they got distracted by being attracted to each other. Monkey see, monkey do, as they say. When the parents found out the kids had been copying everything they saw the parents do, they tried to make that stop. Since the passion unleashed in the kids was extreme, it seemed like extreme measures were called for. Have you ever heard that old saying: From the frying pan into the fire?
I like hardboiled film noir, especially Raymond Chandler. Noir means "dark "and this piece is certainly that. I am exploring why people do self-destructive things. None of the characters are good. But none are bad either; with one glaring exception. I hope you enjoy - DT
