"The Pact" is a MOST remarkable story. Thinking Horndog drew me into what I was accepting as a stroke story. Somewhat light, with a very predictable plot line of male teenagers lusting over and trapping mothers. Well, almost immediately there was a kink as the boys realized they could not do it with their own mothers, but each other mother was still an option.
What was this? Ethics in a stroke story?
Then the seduction: succesful of course. But the mothers aren't all barbie dolls with instaiable appetites, they are actually described as a fairly good mix of the women one might find in a suburban coffee shop. Of course they put out for the boys, otherwise there would be no story.
And it's a good stroke story. The sex is hot, kinky, and sweaty. Real summer-time sex.
But there are actual sub-plots. Certainly too many to mention here. But each sub-plot adds to the interest.
There is considerable discussion among the boys and among the mothers about what is happening and why. There are significant misunderstandings and these are worked through over time.
In many ways, this is story not of lust in the afternoon, but of a group of interesting people who are maturing together. As I get further into the story, I become more and more interested in the individuals, and find myself impatient for the posting of the newest chapters. The cast are well described, and the reader becomes both intrigued and involved as they each require support or give reassurance to the others. None is perfect: they all have some short-comings (hmmm, it almost starts to sound like "real life" - how can this be in a stroke story?).
Perhaps Thinking Horndog is extending the genre. Yes, it's a stroke story, but not one to be denigrated: rather one to be celebrated. "TH" is to be congratulated for producing a well thought out little community here, and is to be thanked for providing us with a damn good stroke story that keeps on satsifying.
