This story is written in three distinct parts. The first two parts of the story deal with the lives of the two main characters up to the point where they are eventually brought together by circumstance, the third part covers the events that happen after that introduction.
Four chapter piece in which Erika Christensen reconnects with Evan Rachel Wood after starting her new celebrity life coaching business. Erika also faces off with her nemesis, evil Scientologist Jessica Feshbach, for the first time that she is aware.
Lorraine Miller find a large black man waiting for her in her home. He threatens to kill her 2 youngest children if she does not to exactly what he says. He then tells her that the only thing she is allowed to say is "I think that is a great idea" to anyone who asks her a question or for her opinion. What follows next is a sick game between Lorraine and her 14 year old son as a nice, prim, proper and prude mom is pushed to her absolute limits in a desperate attempt to keep her family safe.
Paths not taken Just what would it take to push a tolerant nation over the edge into into a state of intolerance, bigotry and hate. This is my take on what happens when darkness falls.
