Jack Downing, an Army Ranger, was somehow zapped to western Georgia of 1810, just after the beginning of the Redstick war. In the first few minutes of his time there he rescues a White woman from the Redsticks. She soon becomes his wife. He sets himself up as a professional hunter and supplies hog and deer meat to the residents of the town of Bob's Knob. He becomes the captain of the local militia, and they fight several battles with the Redsticks. 8 chapters.

James, an 83-year-old man, reads a strange book and ends up in a stranger world at the age of 12 with the benefit of a mature mind. Based on Rise of the Shield Hero and because I have a Raphtalia fetish, I couldn't resist writing this out. James wanders off, gets captured and is sent to the Wheel of Pain (yes that one), eventually he escapes and makes his way back 'home'. The first chapter is the introduction, setting the stage for James's adventures in this magical and dangerous realm.

A sexy fantasy romp. A man dies of old age - I know, right? Elsewhere a young boy takes ill and fades away. The elderly man wakes to find himself in the boy’s abandoned body. Thus starts his new life on an alternate Earth with a wildly divergent history. He discovers he has been sent on a mission. Starts slow because of character and story development.

This is the story of how a small group of humans fight a bunch of alien empire builders as they try to kill every human on Earth by means of a weapon of mass destruction. At first, all they know is that any human or animal touched by a wall of fog dies a horrible death. Eventually, the humans win, but the battle is not an easy one. (9 chapters)
