My Changing Life — a series by Ronin74

It is about a man from his teen years, in the early 90s, on. He tries to do the right thing but considering how fucked up his life is, he doesn't always have the tools to figure out what the right thing is. The story progresses past modern times into a Rifts type megaverse becoming a fanfic. Advanced technology and magic become commonplace. Every story in the series is a stand-alone but you would get more enjoyment if you read them in the proper order. The unfortunate side effect of writing it this way is that not all the endings are as strong as I would like.
