This stand-alone story is a kind of prequel to my story 'My Son, the Photographer' and tells how two of the characters in that story first become intimate.

Jerry has lost himself. He goes to a local cave to reconnect with who he was as a boy, but what he finds there isn't himself. He runs across an old, decayed corpse and a voice in the dark.

People can make a difference
A new start. That's what Paul finally decided he needed. He gave his all to not only finish the job, but to insure that the objectives the customer expected were met or exceeded. Work was not just for a client, now a friend. They had worked side by side for over a year on things. Now it was over and time for him to move on. He loved his job, the work, the clients but hated his boss. Ch 1-27 have been corrected.

A father ends up celebrating his Birthday alone in a bar. A beautiful young blonde not much older than his daughter introduces herself and opens his mind to new possibilities.

Do-gooding aliens find humans that were frozen for medical purposes, long after Earth has undergone catastrophic geologic resculpting. They attempt to bring back the humans and turn them loose in a colony with what they regard as a sufficient cache of supplies.

So many bad things happened to Cliff as he grew into his retirement. His final disappointment in his government brought the pigs to the feed bucket one last time.

I found her cheating and needed to get even in some way. My life had totally changed.

I knew a lot about water, but not much about women. This is an Earth Day story
