My original version of chapter four had several flaws. The flaws existed because I wrote the chapter's ending and forced the story to fit the ending.
The ending of the chapter is worth keeping, trust me.
Unfortunately, correcting the flaws is taking longer than I like, and chapter four will be delayed. I expect to have an updated version out to my beta readers within a day or two.
My beta readers are awesome. This story is better because of their efforts.
Chapter three been uploaded.
Three was mostly finished several weeks ago. After soliciting advice, I chose to hold it until four was complete. Chapter four is in final edit and I expect to post it next weekend.
I'd like to thank Crumbly Writer for showing me much of what I was missing.
I try to reply to every email. If I've missed yours please remind me.
Chapter three is going to my beta readers. Chapter four is a little over halfway content complete.
Interesting information: Chapters one and two are each about 6K words long. Chapter three is sitting at 8K. Chapter four, which is in progress, is at 5K words.
Where chapters one and two mostly deal with Kevin and Rebecca fooling around. (The barn is still my favorite scene). Chapters three and four involve the antagonists quite a bit more.
Most of the content is complete. Normally, I would be polishing and editing. However, unless I change things, Chapter three is going to end with a cliffhanger. I don't know about you, but I dislike cliffhangers.
I may change it.
Why does it take me so long to complete a chapter?
I work full-time and have a three hour (per day) commute. Most of my writing is done on the weekends and I am slow.
If I had known that TFD would be popular, I would have held it back until it was complete.
Feel free to email me with your thoughts.

My apologies for taking so long to finish chapter three. Content is about 70% complete. I hope to have it done and sent to my beta readers soon.
