A quick note to thank you all for voting for me and my stories.
It's a team effort. My editors make me look good. They deserve a shout out.
XofDallas, Bud Ugly, Zom, TheMikeBomb, and my newest addition Old Rotorhead (who is helping with my new series - A Better Man).
I couldn't do it without them.
I also couldn't do this without the readers on SOL - Thank You

My day job is running a real estate company. People still need a place to live, so we never slowed down.
Where I gained time was through my other hobby, not writing, is playing poker. For some reason, the state decided that poker rooms had to be shut down. I guess I can see their point because who plays tournaments during the day? Old guys like me and college kids. What could go wrong with that mix?
My editors assure me that we will have chapters for the final book in the Stupid Boy Series to post on SOL the last weekend in May (I was told that not all of you keep track of holidays in the US - Memorial Day weekend).
I was worried we might not make it because one of my key editors contracted Covi19. He assures us he is feeling much better and is starting to send us his edits. He's key because he catches what the rest of my team miss. It just goes to show you that you shouldn't edit your own work.
There are enough chapters in the last book to get us through the year once we start posting. So you will get your weekly fix of David and company into January.
The first book in the next series, A Better Man - that covers the college years, has gone faster than anticipated. I might be done with it by mid-summer. The problem is I can't start posting it on SOL until David's high school years are up.
If I can't play poker this summer we might end up with a couple of books stacked and waiting in the cue to post on SOL. For me, that's a good problem because I might get a chance to write something different while we wait to catch up.
Stay safe.

Will begin posting Memorial Day Weekend.
It's a monster - over 900 pages long. It had to be to wrap up David's high school years.
Currently writing the first book in the next series - A Better Man that will follow David to college.
I hope you enjoyed Senior Year Part II. Thanks for reading.

My team and I take the feedback that readers of the ARC version of the Stupid Boy stories seriously. A recent example was that in the ARC version of the book, David had hired Cal - Pam's father - as his lawyer. Readers pointed out how crazy that was, so we changed it.
They also find numerous errors that help us provide a much better read on SOL.
There is also some confusion about the process. While it is true that I do not post stories before they are done, that does not mean that we are done editing them. After the ARC version is done we send it to TheMikeBomb who gives it a serious edit. It is then sent to BudUgly who gives it one, if not five, more read-throughs.
The week I post a chapter on SOL it is given to me the Wednesday before. I read through it again. Of course, if I make changes, I send it back to Bud because my editors know my limited capabilities. I'm in charge of stories, not making it readable.
That is the long way of saying that I do not have an updated version of Part II as of yet. I won't have one until we are done posting on SOL.
To be honest, it will be in individual chapters and not a whole book format. I won't even look at it again because of the other stuff that is going on. I am suggesting that if people want an updated version to wait until the last chapter is posted on SOL and then download it from SOL. They provide several different formats that are compatible with most e-readers.
Currently Working On:
- Rewrite of The Chosen into a full-length novel for Amazon. Added close to 20,000 words to make a complete story.
- Working on the final edits for the Amazon version of Junior Year Spring, and shortly, Summer.
- Edits for all the changes that readers have suggested for Senior Year Part III (Which will begin posting on SOL at the end of May and there are some major changes)
- Started writing the first book in The Better Man series that will follow David through college (tentatively shooting for 4th quarter)
