The final chapter and epilogue of my story Make the Cut are in the schedule to be posted Saturday morning. This will wrap up book one. I've learned a great deal over this process and have enjoyed the emails and feedback I have received.
Book two, Cutting a Swath, is very, very close and I hope to start posting that soon. It will be a direct sequel and will continue John's story. Early readers have seemed to enjoy it and I hope you will also. I will post an update on when you can expect to see it.
I want to especially thank those of you who purchased the book on Bookapy. The sales have been much better then I hoped. Make the Cut has the most reviews of any books listed on Bookapy in the sci-fi category which was a nice surprise also.

PS - Coincidentally, I just saw that my story posted here hit 75,000 total downloads this morning. A nice sized number! Based upon the weekly downloads I have well over five thousand readers still following the story. Thank you so much!
Next weekend (November 14th) I will be posting chapter 19 of "Make the Cut". This is the midpoint of part three and will bring us near the end of book one. There are four more chapters to follow before book one wraps up a week or two before Christmas. As I think over those four final chapters I can't help but smile a bit. "Wow!" and "that was unexpected!" were commonly heard from those that have read ahead via the full book on Bookapy.
I want to sincerely thank you for reading my story. The feedback via comments and messages I have received has been amazing. They have also been educational and it's incredible how much I have learned during this process. I've had some wonderful and amazing help along the way regarding editing, proof reading and reviews and I can't say enough positive things about those who offer their assistance here to help with these stories.
I also need to thank everyone who has purchased the full book one on Bookapy. Being my first book published in such a manner, I can't judge success, only expectations. But I can say that the number of sales has exceeded my hopes and fears by a wide margin. I am also thankful and surprised at the readers who took time to leave a Bookapy review. My story listing there has three reviews which is high for that site. That they are also positive reviews is just frosting on the cake. I wrote my story knowing it might not appeal to every reader but I'm thrilled it has found a loyal and healthy following.
So, what's next? The good news (assuming your a fan) is that book one will not be the end of the John's story. His adventures and trials continue in book two, titled "Cutting a Swath". The good news is that book two is written and in post production as we speak. This means it's on schedule to begin posting here possibly in January or early February.
Book three "Final Cut" will follow sometime after. If all goes according to plan, this will wrap up Johns story to a large degree but who knows.
Thanks again, C...B
I'm learning. Unfortunately some of the lessons come the hard way. A few months ago I finished part three of my book Make the Cut. I had four people proof it and they caught me spelling the country Colombia with a U like the district. I got the story fixed and moved on.
Today, I was browsing chapter 17 and noticed that it was back to Columbia. What the hell! I looked back and chapter 16 was wrong also. Somehow I must have swapped a corrected version with an old one. Jeeze! I've reuploaded the versions here and now I get to go fix the other versions I have floating around.
Also... a better story version tracking system must be implimented! So, if you have noticed the mistake, I am sorry!.
...has started posting. Chapter 15 of book 1 is up today. This is the first chapter in "Turnabout", the title of part three.
I also have the full book on Bookapy. Thank you to those who have already purchased it!
I also have to thank Zom for leaving a great review of the book on the Bookapy listing. If you are curious about the book and where part three is heading, check it out. small spoiler alert thought.

A few days ago the last chapter in Part 2 (Solitude) of my "Make the Cut" series was posted. Part 3 (Turnabout) will begin posting next starting Saturday October 17th with a chapter a week and will wrap up mid December. The feedback I have gotten from those who have jumped ahead and bought the book say that part 3 was surprising and ramped up the story quite a bit. I hope you enjoy it also. When part 3 finishes posting, that will conclude Book 1 of "Make the Cut"
Book 2 is in progress and hopefully will be ready for posting early in the new year. I will have updates on that as we move forward. Thank you so much for your support and feedback.
