1: Bec by BarBar The Bec series is simply 'Great'. I've never read such a good story written about a person with the mental issues like Bec has.
It opened my eyes and I find myself thinking of the story often.
2: The Smith by Shaddoth There is so much to love here. The author throws info at the reader so fast you have to really work to keep up but oh, the fun and excitement if you do. Check out this author's other works as they are great also...
3: Stupid Boy by G Younger My favorite Coming-of-age story on SOL if not my favorite story here period. Wish fulfilment is high but the characters are so well written and humor is used perfectly to make the story come alive.
I've reread the early parts of the story many times as new installments have been released and I've loved it again each time I did.
One warning. I purchased the advanced release of the follow on series "A Better Man." After finishing this I was upset. The author decided to switch to third person and introduce dozens and dozens of minor character points of view. This kills the intimacy you feel for the main character and dilutes the story.
After reading that, I decided to consider the storyline finished at Senior Year 3. Be warned.
