A FANTASY ABOUT LOVE

I've re-witten and re-formatted chapters 10 to 19 since the posting repeated some chapters and deleted others.

I'm sorry but my recent weeks and months were spent in Hospital and I lost track of the sequence when I re-wrote it.

Please re-read it again to see what happened.

I received a message from one of my readers, that the latest submission had the same chapter repeated three times.I checked the original story and it was OK.

I'm re-submitting the beginning of the story to correct this failure. My apologies.

A Fantasy about Love

Years ago, I started a story – A Fantasy About Love. It took me years to finish it, getting longer with each chapter.

A young couple met in Sydney, Australia, fell in love, they got involved with her mother, and had success in developing a logistics company from a local company to a national one. He was aggressive, the mother had money, and the daughter provided emotional stability. The three became four with another woman being added to the union, and the company grew into an international success. It was not easy – personal conflicts caused eventual problems, but having a solid love base, most were vanquished. Then life became interesting as their growing subsidiary in Poland was threatened with expropriation. They set a trap, caught the PM of the ruling party demanding money and the control of their company, went to the media, and resulting publicity had the ruling party losing the majority in the Sejm. The government fell and their company was saved.

It's a story based on love and trust and while relationships grow and decline, all’s well at the end – like a fantasy should.

The story was published first as one long piece (with a satisfactory reception), then edited and separated in eight parts – still with a good reception by the readers. Now I re-read my story and perceived that it could be improved. It took me seven months, a new editor helped, and I decided to re-publish in a rewritten, revised, and reformulated posting.

If you have read the original version, read it again to see how it has improved – the dialogues were especially improved, making the text flow easier and more natural. If you haven’t, try it. Please remember that only reward a writer has is the recognition that the reader liked it, and that is expressed in the rating you give.

In any case, enjoy it.

A Tale about Love Part II

Part II of Tales about Love is a story about people falling in love and bonding, relationships growing closer and fading away, business successes and disappointments, and how love can change the lives of everyone involved. There are problems, and there are moments of tranquility, but there is always trust and love. James has found his true love, but circumstances out of his control lead to two more lovely women getting into his arms—and bed.

My new and brilliant editor has finished Part II of my Tale about Love, resolving (at least partially) the Germanic elements of my dialogues.

If you read it for the first time, enjoy it. If you read it again, enjoy the better flow of the words. In any case, enjoy it. Later Parts II to IV will show how their lives develop, how their company becomes important globally, and in the end, they will topple a European nation’s government.

Please remember that the only reward a writer gets from his (or her) readers is a comment and a rating. Spend the last moment to tell him what you think.

A Tale about Love I - A Felicitous Encounter

This story has been posted before and I hope this final version is a much better version. First there was rlfj, who brilliantly checked logic and consistency. Then I met Dookie who took me to task for my stilted dialogues and made them more readable. This is the final and improved version of Chapter I, where you meet three people, who fall in love, have disagreements, solve problems, and finally join in a caring bond. Once the next five chapters are edited, they will be posted also. Please have patience.

If you have read it before, spend some time and read it again. If not, read and enjoy it. In any case rate the story and let me know what you liked – and what not. That is the only reward a writer has.
