The new chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.

This week's chapters open with the Mayor's failed news conference.

Max goes out to eat before that evening's business with Rickey Pontoliano and his men. He uses various spells to eventually learn what they know about those who they helped kidnap his children, which isn't a lot. He gives each of them a final chance to tell him something important to avoid being hanged. He destroys Rickey's offices before departing.

Sunday morning there is another meeting in the Mayor's conference room. The two from the Pentagon enter and reveal that Max is responsible for everything, but distort the truth of why.

Sunday morning, Max transfers to the town where he was arrested, and hides the confiscated gold and money in the police evidence room. He then takes his revenge on the two officers who falsely arrested him and let the kidnapper go. The two from the Pentagon eventually arrive in the town to release the cops with a bit of delusion.

More next week.

The new chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.

This week's chapters open with Max receiving an e-mail with pictures of what was done o his children. He gives into despair and gets drunk as a skunk, but the Bourbon and the rage combine to break the psychological blocks in his mind, and when he awakens, he remembers how to do Magic again.

He soon discovers that the e-mail has been erased, but he has saved a copy to a flash drive and reviews its contents again. He then prepares to break the government's surveillance and hide out in plain sight among the homeless in Atlanta. Several days later he arrives at the veterans camp in Atlanta, and convinces them to accept him.

When someone tries to steal his things, his Magic catches him, but Max needs to explain how he acquired some of his things. George and Albert go with him later that night to acquire more Bourbon.

Returning to camp, Max detects his brother-in-law near there and learns that his wife is dead. Back at the camp, George demands to now who was following them and threatens to shoot Max who uses his Magic to to prevent the shells from firing. This requires an explanation of who he is and what he is doing. George agrees to help him locate those responsible for his children's kidnapping. The next few weeks are spent gathering information, a lot of information on the criminal elements in the city.

It isn't until July 14th, that one of the men brings in some vital information. George helps Max with his plans after being assured that the veterans won't be involved in anything to do with them.

My thanks to the many readers who checked out the initial chapters of this story. I hope that you will enjoy the rest of it.

New chapters next Friday.

The Moderators have received the first chapters of this new story.

Injustice opens with Max Hardtrick shopping for groceries with his two sons. While returning his shopping cart, a van pulls up behind is SUV and several men kidnap his children. Max manages to pull one of the men from the van as it escapes.

Max is pounding on the kidnapper when the police arrive. They are not understanding and do not believe his story. They throw him in jail and let the kidnapper go.

Max is finally released when two men from Military Intelligence from the Pentagon arrive. They are more concerned about him than his children.

Max's wife is furious when he arrives home, but is stunned on learning of the kidnapping. Max is frustrated by having to wait to hear from the kidnappers. The kidnappers finally call to tell them that they won't get their children back. Max's wife faints on hearing that.

Later the Pentagon people visit him and admit that other children have been kidnapped and never recovered alive. The following day he receives work that they have recovered the children's bodies.

Max calls his brother-in-law and arranges to send his wife to her mother's house to recover.

This is the first story in a series that I have planned for three parts. I am also working on several other stories as well as Magic Ink VIII, which is going very slowly.
