Holy crap! I am totally not used to being able to submit chapters this quickly. A couple of nights ago, I started outlining the story and rather than continuing the outline, I got an idea for a conversation and rather than mapping it out I just started typing it out and editing as I went along. Next thing I knew it was 3 am!

Good thing I didn't need to be anywhere the following morning.

So long story, short. My main editor and proof reader have the next chapter and once I get those back and finalized, I will post.

A whole lot earlier than I expected. Hopefully sooner than you all expected also!

Okay, my main editor was offline for the last couple of weeks and just got back into it this weekend.

So now I can upload the latest chapter... ENJOY!!!!

Okay, maybe not as dramatic as that but yes the next chapter of "Mayhem in a Pill" has been sent to my last editor and I am just waiting for the final edits then I can post.

I know many of you are ready to read what is next, and I'm eager for you guys to read it. So either tonight or tomorrow will be the next chapter.

Ooh. I almost forgot to tell you. The next chapter will come much quicker since I'm already about half way through it.

Stuff is getting very interesting!

I figure some ear food would be nice about this time. I had the pleasure to see this band live a few times. I don't like country music but this is something a bit different and the idea of sitting around a picnic table outside of a golf driving range was something I did for pretty much an entire summer in my younger years.

This brings up the fact that after a long bout with well basically not wanting to write because for the last month or so I was being lazy kinda like those days on the driving range.

A nice breeze, good friends and cold Shiner Bock always seemed to lead to something else if we waited long enough.

So you all waited long enough so here is Chapter 8 of "Mayhem in a Pill." Check it out and let me know what you think.

Seeing as how the temperature in South Texas has turned to the higher end of the thermometer, I'm going out to the backyard, grabbing a cooler fool of Shiner and gonna let me mp3's just go through my collections for the Texas Tornados. Well, I better wait until tomorrow afternoon since it is like 3am, but at least now I have something to do for this weekend rather than watching TV.

I'll let you guys in on a little secret... the speed of the next chapter is directly proportional to the amount of feedback I get on the chapters.

A paraphrase of a rap song by Eminem but also a call to arms if you would. Mayhem in a Pill has a new chapter coming up Sunday.

Real life kicked me in the gonads and decided follow me as I rolled on the floor in pain. I want to thank the few fans of my story who were desperately trying to get me to update the story.

I wonder if that is how Cold Creek feels every time he gets one of my emails begging for an update on the DMAN series.

Oh well, I have just put the latest chapter in the queue and I just realized an update on Sunday morning should have a nice amount of readers since normally there are not many updates coming out Sunday morning. Or am I guilty of wishful thinking?

Okay, so a new chapter coming up and also I'm still not completely back on my Thursday posting schedule but it definitely won't take another month for the next chapter.
