Crap. Gotta tell him someway.

I just realized I spent the entire night re-reading Refusenik's Island Mine for the umpteenth time. It is still as much fun as the first time I read it.

Now I remember reading about some folks wanting a second story to follow up on what happens next. I can understand the feeling of wanting more from the story. Does the AI Chief follow Waylon's orders and visit Arman in Tahiti and bond with the man. Or does he just watch over the family and protect him, like his mother believed the island did for her. Will newly promoted Admiral Arnold ever have an opportunity to speak with Waylon while he is on Mars? Or maybe even does Waylon ever speak with humans again?

Many questions. But do you really want a sequel for a nearly perfect story. It is a question I end up contemplating every time I finish re-reading the story. I still don't really have an answer, but then again, I smile and realize I can be happy with just the one story.

Thanks Refusenik. From the bottom of my heart, I can only give one compliment. I wish I had written this story.

I wanted to send this to the writer exclusively but I'll bet he got tired of all the emails from people begging him for a new story! So, I'll just put it here and maybe... one day... he'll read it.

I was working on the next chapter of Mayhem when I realized I passed the normal amount of time for an update long ago.

Sorry.

I ran into another one of those "well, that sucked" first drafts of the next chapter. After thinking it over for a couple of days, I trashed it and decided to start over. Well, I didn't trash it, I just re-saved it and labeled it "Shitty Version 1.0."

This of course forced back the deadline for an update upsetting the known universe and setting us all on a truly epic and fantastical death. I am usually better at letting y'all know what is going on but unfortunately this time, I haven't been keeping y'all in the loop.

Again... sorry.

So back to the drawing board. But that was a couple of days after I was supposed to have posted the next chapter.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

I'm also running into trouble because it is also the first try at the erotica portion of the story. The awkwardness of the scene almost matched the awkwardness of my first sexual experience. She had braces and 'manscapping' was not practiced at the time. Sure as hell has been practiced since I can tell you.

Memories.

But I digress...

I restarted the chapter and it is not yet ready for even sending to my editors. For that I'm also sorry.

But to my scores of fans, I ain't given up yet. In fact, I started a new preliminary outline for a new story. But I think I'll finish this one first, or at the very least get to a stopping point. Maybe take a page from GYounger's book and finish at the end of freshman year. But surely promise a Sophomore year coming quickly down the pipe. Yeah... I like that idea. But alas we still have a ways to go.

I think I'll go ahead and blame it all on the end of football season.

As usual I had a difficult time coping with reestablishing myself into the regular world.

Luckily the NFL Draft is right around the corner. So I have begun preparations for this years selection process and my of course watching EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF COVERAGE.

Yes, I'll have two 50" TVs watching with one tuned to ESPN and the other on NFL Network. But no I don't have a problem.

I'll try to get the next chapter of Mayhem in a Pill, out as soon as I can but the author kindly requests your patience as he tries to forget the feeling of quickly ripped out pubic hair caught in her braces cause she thought she heard someone coming into the theater.

And if you're now having trouble sitting comfortably... sorry.

WOW!!! Guess who's back...

Sorry to get hopes up but I'm not ready to post the next chapter just yet. But rest assured I will be writing this weekend. And I have a few football games saved on the DVR to keep me in the game mode.

But I find myself writing to cheer for the unexpected return of Magi and his story "A Young Man's Story." I found myself re-reading a few of the last chapters just to get myself back up to speed on the story. Hopefully this means Magi will be granting us new chapters on a more regular basis.

If you have never read "A Young Man's Story," then clear the weekend calendar and go for it. You will enjoy yourself.

Now if we could just get Cold Creek posting... .

Never worry, Never fear!

Well football fans. We are now out of football until around July when training camps begin. So I guess I'll have to try to keep your entertained with the further adventures of Mayhem in a Pill. It is my burden but one I take on happily.

So. Football season is over. But the NFL Draft is right around the corner.

Ugh. It is depressing and it hit me about ten minutes after the game last night. But then I remembered that my editors got the latest chapter back to me for posting. So Chapter 24 will be appearing very soon. Enjoy.

The bottom falls out.

Picture this... a man sits on the side of his bed with his trusty porn purveyor machine (also known as a laptop computer) sitting on the writing desk along side of his bed.

Yes, he understood the jokes from old coworkers about the effort and authority the writer often used to get his words to come on the screen. If the keyboard felt pain, it would probably scream each time the muse tickled the writing effort.

But lo late last week... the writing desk was swaying almost comically with every pounding of the keyboard. It's essence displayed in beauty of words on the screen. At least that's how the author will tell the tale. But still. The writing desk was uneasy. Perhaps it was an unconscious editorial thought on part of the desk. Or perhaps....... tragedy!

Apparently pulling the writing desk toward from the bed when the need to download the newest MILF scene out of Southern California's porn paradise hit. Or possibly the act of pushing the desk away from the bed when the latest chunk of Mayhem had been added onto the always opened file from OpenOffice.

But yes, a particle board leg gave way. Spilling everything on top of the desk as well as the contents of the single drawer upon the floor. Luckily, our possessing an other worldly sixth sense and the reflexes to react, your favorite writer prevailed and successfully caught the laptop keeping it from an inevitable crashing on the floor.

So for nearly a week there was no writing of the next chapter of Mayhem in a Pill. The idea of placing the computer on an actual lap and trying to type a chapter was not a comfortable time. But happily, the replacement desk has been delivered now complete with sliders on the legs to assist in the necessary pushing and pulling now added to the replacement desk.

So this weekend will see our intrepid scribe happily back at work on his trusty laptop on top of a new writing desk, preparing the next chapter for your amusement. He also had an opportunity to purchase new coasters to hold the ever-present bottle of cold fermented beverages from Shiner, Texas.

And also this weekend, he will take a few minutes to check in on Southern California's Pornoville and a few of his favorite MILFs.
