Wanted to give an update, first that the story is in fact continuing. I have chapters 18 and 19 written and will be getting posted to the site later this morning. As a warning ahead of time I will be doing some jumping forward in time. After all, covering two real life years in a story would get dull and repetitive, so I'll start hitting some of the highlights and moving the story forward. I'm thinking I'll probably be reaching an end point prior to chapter 30.
A side note - once this story is complete I do have the framework of an idea for another story. However this one will be completely fictional and I'm thinking of basing it off a song that I flesh out into a short story.

First, I have to apologize this is even a question. I should have had the story complete long ago, but...life happens. But I'd like input if there is anyone interested in my finishing the story. Also open to constructive criticism as well.

First off I would just like to thank those who have provided input on my story. The vast majority of it has been good which is fantastic as a first time author. That being said I've obviously noticed how life causes me to have gaps in my ability to continue the story. As someone who also reads stories here I know that same thing bothers me, getting into a story and then having to wait long periods for the next update. So what I am going to do is continue writing but not post additional chapters until I either have numerous chapters or have completed the story altogether. Hopefully this will be a better outcome for you the reader and also a reassurance that the story will be finished. Thank you for your patience and I hope you will enjoy what is still to come.
