My apologies, but evidently when I had submitted 20 to the queue it didn't go thru. I have now corrected that and will be continuing with the story. There will be jumps forward a little to move the story. It will probably be able to be completed within about five chapters I would think. My apologies to those I've kept waiting. For any new fans - welcome. Criticism is always welcome

Chapter 20 has been submitted up to the queue. Story moving forward and I can see the end coming within the next 5-10 chapters. After that I will be starting on another shorter story. However, with that story I will probably be waiting until it's written before posting it.

Things have been busy with prep for some of my unit deploying (myself prob in later months/second half of the deployment), but this weekend I have a 24 hour CQ shift and am planning on making use of the time to get some good work in on my story. Things will be taking jumps forward over the next few chapters, I've got 2 years time to cover, so be prepared for that.

I do also have an outline of an idea for another story, this one fictional and based on a song. That one will probably end up being a shorter story. I'm thinking I'll wait to post any of it until I've finished my first, and then when I have a couple chapters to start out. As always constructive criticism is welcome, just drop me am email.

Wanted to give an update, first that the story is in fact continuing. I have chapters 18 and 19 written and will be getting posted to the site later this morning. As a warning ahead of time I will be doing some jumping forward in time. After all, covering two real life years in a story would get dull and repetitive, so I'll start hitting some of the highlights and moving the story forward. I'm thinking I'll probably be reaching an end point prior to chapter 30.
A side note - once this story is complete I do have the framework of an idea for another story. However this one will be completely fictional and I'm thinking of basing it off a song that I flesh out into a short story.
