As the Brits say, Bloody Hell!
A couple of weeks ago I had an inspirational idea on how to finish "Jack's Gift" and today I managed to finish the story. I don't know if the idea was good or bad, but it was an idea and now it seems to be done. I am going to go back through and fix as many of the mistakes I made as I can and then start posting the story again. I have to tell everyone out there who has read this story thank you for being so patient. I hit a roadblock in my idea and in my life but all of that seems to be done now. If you see a mistake, it is my fault and mine alone so please be gentle with me.
Enjoy the rest of the year everyone and hopefully I will be able to move on and finish the rest of my crazy stories before 2018 closes. Wouldn't that be nice?
Thanks to Uncle Fester, I have gotten a new idea for Paul and Ashlee and I have decided to post a few more chapters as I finish the story. Yes, I am going to finish the story! YEEAAHH!!
Look for a couple of chapters tonight then a few more next week.
Some authors need their own Uncle Fester when they get stuck.
I'm sure that everyone was concerned about how the pudding turned out so I am here to give a report.
IT WAS AWESOME
If you want to know how we made it, message me and I'll pass along the recipe.
Later all.
The banana pudding is in the fridge firming up. The excess pudding is in the fridge as well and I think I may have to share both of them with my family. I don't really want to share, but there you go.
I am posting two chapters tonight, one for each of the stories that I am maintaining on this site. I think they are pretty good and will add something to the story to help move both of them along. Neither of them is finished, these are just two chapters that I finished a while back and feel good about.
I hope that the authors that I am following will post more of their books tonight. I am thinking about REP, MisguidedChild, Jay Cantrell, Oldwolf, Pars001 (I am talking about S.H.E.I.L.A. and A Guy and His...? stories) and auguy86. I read each of your stories and would say to each of you, please post more. I get joy out of reading your works and I am sure many others do as well.
Thanks and take care everyone. I'll let you know how the pudding turned out.
This one was difficult. I hope it came across as good but writing about the most important night a person's life is quite a challenge. I know from personal experience that the night after getting married can be a tough one. My wife and I were so tired once we got to our bed-n-breakfast we just had enough energy for dinner, a comfortable bath together then a quick sexual encounter to consummate our marriage. We were worn out physically and emotionally so a quickie was all we could manage. I have talked to a few other people in my age group and they reported having a very similar experience. So, instead of that I wanted to write about what it could have been for me and many of my friends. I hope this chapter is enjoyable, as I said, it was a bit of a challenge. Take care.
