A story in the The Tugboat Man Universe
The title tells the tale. The wife is from Atlantis. So, there are some unavoidably sci-fi aspects. But, this is actually nothing more than pure romantic adventure. I hope that you enjoy reading it, as much as I did writing it. D.T.
A story in the The Tugboat Man Universe
This is my third Tug story. In this one, our hero and his Atlantean wife solve the mystery of Jack the Ripper; thereby, saving the world from Nazi Armageddon. Their discoveries expose the real truth behind the Whitechapel murders, along with some of the more unsavory elements of Victorian society. Along the way, they meet the legendary Victorian swashbuckler, Harry Paget Flashman. And, King Edward the Seventh tries his luck with our hero's wife. Read on, and enjoy!
A story in the The Tugboat Man Universe
To those of you who have read me elsewhere. I have been encouraged to let my freak flag fly and this site seems like a good place to start doing that. I consider myself the poet-laureate of the nerd world. And I like my stories with a little sex and a whole lot of twists and turns. That's what you I am giving you here. I hope that you enjoy this as much as I did writing it. And because it was so much fun, you can expect more along this line. D.T. / (Reviews)
A story in the The Tugboat Man Universe
Tug and his Atlantean wife are in Camelot, where backstabbing and adultery are the favorite pastime. The mission is to prevent an Athenian super weapon from destroying Anglo-Saxon culture. The problem is that Maria has to seduce King Arthur to get it. Meanwhile, Tug has to joust with one of the knights of the round table while worrying about his wife playing footsie with the King. It isn't Sir Thomas Mallory, or even Mark Twain. But I hope you find my little tale entertaining.
Janet and Peter are your average upper-middle-class couple. They lead an idyllic life. Janet is devoted to her kids and her husband. But then she meets Bill. Bill REALLY wants her and he'll stop at nothing to get her. Both Janet and Peter think that Bill is an arrogant d-bag. And they put together an elaborate plan to let him know that. Of course karma is a heartless bitch and as Confucius said "Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves."
This is about the aftermath of war and people's sacrifices. He didn't want to leave his young wife but his sense of duty made him answer the call. Nevertheless, there are always consequences for every decision and his were very severe indeed. I try to post something every July Fourth to honor those who served. This one cuts a little closer to the bone than most. So, I hope you enjoy.
A story in the Beyond the Wall of Sleep Universe Part of Gothic Horror Challenge
Our hero wakes up on a tramp freighter with no memory. That kicks off a lifetime adventure that begins on a mysterious island and ends on a cliff overlooking Lyme Regis. It features a beautiful woman, some friendly Icelanders, a few unfriendly Vikings, a couple of gay guys, a malicious demi-god and the CIA. There are also a few twists, so don't get too comfortable. Please enjoy... DT
This all started when my pal RichardGerald abducted my dog and put him in a story. The ending was a bit harsh (e.g., a classic RG piece). So, folks asked me to talk to him about a sequel. RG felt that it ended where it should. Instead he proposed a follow-on like we did with The Empire Builder. So, this is the continuation written in my style. As for Buster. He appreciates your concern. He'd be here to thank you himself, but he's outside right now rolling in something disgusting. / (Reviews)
This story has my usual helping of boats and dogs. It doesn't venture outside the realm of academia; a place I know far too well. The theme is miscommunication, misunderstanding, and the perils of making assumptions. The characters are all trying to get-by; just like the rest of us. They make mistakes and they sometimes hurt each other. But as somebody once said, "Judge not, lest ye be judged." I hope you enjoy - DT
