Josette is uncannily beautiful. She also does wet work for the Mossad as the Needle. Peter is exceptionally handsome and chivalrous. He is also so deadly that he is known as the Archangel in the shadowy world of espionage. Peter and Josette are far too perfect to experience conventional love until they rediscover each other during the Six-Day War. This completes the story of brave little Josette from "Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree" and noble Peter from "American Patrol." I hope you enjoy.
They were a team of opposites. She was white-hot, passionate. He was laid back. He was an iconoclast. She was a sultry preppie beauty with an attitude. Yet, they completed each other. This story is different for me. It is a simple character-driven tale about two people who genuinely love each other and how they deal with one partner’s infidelity. I like twists. But his time, I stuck with the simple question of how a couple who belong together can possibly reconcile a betrayal. Read on and see.

As promised. this is the next book in my Hilley series. Once again, voting is disabled until the last installment. Somebody has a rogue atomic bomb and they plan to make a statement. Hilley and Mel are on the case, along with their aristocratic friend Pru. Follow the trail from London, to LA to Washington DC as our intrepid agents track down the bad guys and one very bad girl. Of course there is plenty of "action" as the three women work their way from one challenge after another.
Readers from both sites suggested that I port some of my better received stories over here. And who doesn't love a do-over? Especially if you can clean up a slightly buggy original and incorporate reader feedback? I can't tell you why I got off on my Hemingway kick - probably lack of creativity on my part. But, I can't think of any story that would be harder to adapt than the Old Man and the Sea. So of course I had to try it. I hope you enjoy it - DT
Marriage is a bet that you make at an age when your decisions are rarely informed by common sense. Hence, marriages succeed about half the time. This story is about those other times— the times when love and respect turn into the desire to trade up. Read on, and you will discover an era populated by some of the most interesting characters in American history… and a love that was meant to be—even if it DID involve violating the laws of time and space to make it so.
Janet and Tom have a wonderful life. She's gorgeous and he's a handsome, successful businessman. What could possibly go wrong with that? Both characters find out, when Tom's protege seduces Janet. There are extenuating circumstances. There are ALWAYS extenuating circumstances. But the fact remains. This two-part, story traces the events leading to the seduction. Then, it follows the long painful path to eventual understanding and final reconciliation
I am playing with the concept of nerd love here. I know the words "nerd" and "romance" are rarely seen in the same sentence. I am also aware that the story might be more appropriately entitled, "Nerds in Casablanca;" since it "borrows" the plot twist and some of the dialog from that classic romantic movie. But, Rick's is in cyberspace, not North Africa, And Bogart is the king of the geeks here. I love romance and happy endings, so enjoy... DT
This story has all the classic elements, a bet on the wife's fidelity, the predator's pursuit, which is described in graphic detail for the husband, the denouement and the final resolution. So why is this in humor? Read on and you'll find out.
I like to honor unsung heroes. This year, it’s the WACs. Their badge is Athene Pallas, the goddess of war and wisdom. The WACs were all of that. They were volunteers in an era when most of their male counterparts were drafted. But they were women in this man’s Army. So, they never got the credit they’d earned and deserve. The other day, I ran across a yard sign that said, “Land of the Free, BECAUSE of the Brave.” That’s who I’m talking about here. / (Reviews)
