Michelle Moira Moran is buried in the Veterans Cemetery in Canton Georgia. It is a beautiful place. On the day of her burial we passed several wild turkeys on the sides of the roads. She is buried next to her mother Dorothea. She is missed greatly by her proud father Robert and her twin brother John Boylan Moran. This little story is in her memory. It is written with love in my heart for her brave little heart.
I like to honor unsung heroes. This year, it’s the WACs. Their badge is Athene Pallas, the goddess of war and wisdom. The WACs were all of that. They were volunteers in an era when most of their male counterparts were drafted. But they were women in this man’s Army. So, they never got the credit they’d earned and deserve. The other day, I ran across a yard sign that said, “Land of the Free, BECAUSE of the Brave.” That’s who I’m talking about here. / (Reviews)
This is a growing up in oklahoma during the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. David, the protagonist never gets laid, until his wedding night. This is a story about the values some people lived by. Not many, but a few actually lived good lives.

I missed William more than ever while and after writing this. This truly was the "summer of our lives", and the time of our lives. To me, it put a real signature on our love and what we meant to each other.
This is the speech I wrote as the guest speaker for the Parshall, ND Memorial Day celebration. I think it was well received and there weren't many dry eyes in the room after I spoke.
