This is one of those stories that is too sexy to be written by anyone but a woman, IMHO! It starts with delicious anticipation, then builds with a heady array of sexy detail.
It's a story that truly repays the universal advice to read slowly. Very slowly; savouring delicacies like Ernest the ancient vibrator :)
The plot I would say needs the quality of the writing to work, because of course it is basically very familiar. It does work, and very well. I nudged it down to a nine just because I tripped very slightly over the reason our sexy heroine was quite so vulnerable, which was maybe a smidge quick and expedient I felt. It's only a momentary distraction though.
Technically it's very well-written and readable, with just the odd scope for a quibble over numbers not spelled out for example and the old 'discreetly'. I docked a point in case that matters to you, but it's good.
The appeal to me was tremendous. The sexy attitude and sense of fun is sublime. For me personally the shaving and tears cost a point, but that's a taste thing of course and maybe a man thing too.
I can only recommend you read this, and slowly enough to savour it.
