After the first few 'pages,' I had to get down and dirty and buckle my swash! What a joy ride this is! I'm going to keep it simple, because you are wasting time reading this review instead of the story ... about a human cannonball Max Privateer and his AI pal Sam. We have kidnappings of beautiful 'near princesses', incidents with monstrous ETs, assassinations, and a love story in a five way romance (number five being Sam,)and the involvement of the Empress, her nephew, and ugly big business.
So what else do you want? And from certain clues, there must be a Book the Twooth in the works, someday. Enjoy!
Oh, and just for that, you get an introduction to Spatial Navigation, because you can't get here from there directly, and it takes time, even at the speed of light!
