This is a good, complete story with a theme that might not be for every SOL reader. I recommend it but since there is dialog in various colors (thoughts of the different personalities of the submissive heroine) colorblind readers may lose something.
There is a well thought out universe for the story setting, and the author has a separate "story" that discusses his construct so other authors could write stories in the same universe, if desired. I am not aware of any such story.
The story has recently been completed, either March or June 2020 depending on how you look at the three new chapter postings. A blog entry indicates a sequel is underway, which is good news.
Doing the numbers, the plot is an 8, an A. It begins set in a school context, and then going to a shopping mall, and other environments readers can identify with, but there are occasional different approaches to reality that bring out how different this story is from most on SOL. I think that is a good thing. Technical quality is a 7, a B. There are some errors where spell check gave the story a correctly spelled word, but the wrong one.
I tried to help a little with proofreading.
Appeal is an 9, an A+. It was higher once complete. If you don't like Bondage, Discipline, Domination, Submission, Sadism and Masochism you may not care for the story as one of romance. Put them all together, gives BDSM with the D and S pulling double duty.
My reviews are designed to bring to readers attention stories they might not otherwise see, that they probably will enjoy. In this case, the other reason is so the author might decide to write some more chapters. I succeeded, now my appeal is to post the sequel.
