I feel that this story, set in rural England, of two brothers competing for the ownership of the family farm and the love of a beautiful farmer's daughter, meets the 'Contest Contest' as close as one can get. I have never been disappointed by a Raven Soule story, and the strengths of the brothers, the Contestants, are shown with a deep feeling for the family farm, and the community as a whole.

One thing puzzles me, why aren't the recommended stories about the Contest? Oh, never mind!
