As far as I'm concerned, this is NOT an incomplete story. Inactive, maybe, and I wouldn't mind having sam177 reactivate it, but it is ok as it is. The characters are appealing, the setting fascinating, the plot intriguing. While there are some technical glitches they are few and far between and don't spoil the story.
As it is, the description as posted isn't quite accurate -- it isn't the real trip to Mars, it is a test, and the test subject is well drawn and charming -- perfect for the job.
Sam177 could mark it concluded, though I really wouldn't object to the story continuing. I have heard from Sam177 since I posted this review, and I hold out hope for seeing more fine work from that source, whether it is this story continued or anything else. Hang in there, Sam177.
