This is a tale of 'wanderlust gone good'.
Otto is a man with a mission, to visit Yuma, Arizona, at the height of the Indian Wars after Custer's last stand and his defeat; the only real defeat of the US Army in the War.
The tragedy was seized upon by the Tribes in the South West to wage war against the White Settlers to get back the traditional Tribal lands lost with the incursion by the Settlers.
The only problem being Otto never did make it that far!
In the years to come he meets Martha, who decides that this is the man for her; he also befriends Running Bear a Mescalero who Otto sort-of adopts, and a pair of Great Danes, King and Queen, who start a Dog Dynasty bent on killing as many enemies as possible.
Oh, the Wanderlust? Would Kansas City fit the bill? BTW as usual aubie56 is not renowned for Stroke stories, so do not expect any; but there are now two sexy tales in his catalogue!
