The title of this story is symbolic for several events that take place and was well chosen by this talented author.
It's about the dark reality that some children face and the author tells it with harsh truth; but then, in the end, provides hope for his young victims. A hope that we can wish for others to have.
Hanky moments all the way around.
I'm glad I stumbled across this gem.
