In "Trish and Her Cheerleading Squad", we read about a 38yr old man with an 18yr old daughter whose mother recently died. Now living with her wealthy father in a house he bought so she can stay at her school for her senior year, things start to happen with his daughter and her friends.
The sex in this story is pretty hot. The young girls chasing the father is fun, and the mother/daughter relationship between one of the daughter's friends is interesting. There is definitely some stroke material here.
The plot was going along quite nicely until a very abrupt ending. The daughter and her cheerleader friends were not done in depth, since this story is more about the stroke than the plot. But the ending definitely felt like the author was just plain tired of writing it, and decided to throw in the towel. I was very disappointed in how it ended, and it left a very negative feeling, which is reflected in my Plot score.
Technically, there were very few errors to be found. The author's editor did a wonderful job working with the author. (Editors should be commended!) Nothing threw me out of my heavy immersion, except for the ending being abrupt.
I really got into this story, which makes the ending that much more disappointing to me. I would have preferred to see it not be finished compared to how it ended. This left a bad taste in my mouth, and my Appeal score was affected by it. A better finish would have garnered a 9 or 10.
Read it for stroke value, but expect to be disappointed by how it ends.
