In "Wedding Photos", Vulgar Argot spins us a wonderful tale that is on the outskirts of his excellent "The Princes of Mannsborough" series. The story is told through Ethan's eyes.

Ethan is a former "stringer", a photographer that goes to hotspots and takes photos that are dangerous to take. He's now trying to break into fashion photography. Renee is a former fashion model turned owner of a powerful modeling agency. With her agency, she could make Ethan's career take off. They knew each other in college, but haven't spoken to each other since before graduation. Renee wants Ethan to photograph her wedding, but he doesn't do weddings. See how she tempts him into doing the shoot, and more.

The sex in this story is powerful and almost animalistic in its intensity. One of Vulgar Argot's gifts is his ability to make the character's desires and sexual needs come across in vivid color. One note, however: the story is coded with "harem", and it doesn't fit the story.

The plot is perfect. While not a long story, the characters come across as real people with real emotions and real motives. Ethan is a solid character that is firmly grounded, but able to be swayed in some things. Renee is set on getting revenge, to the point of missing what is important. Even Sondra and Chastity are compelling characters that round out the whole story. Creating characters that you want to care about is another of Vulgar Argot's strengths.

Technically, this is excellent.

This is another one of my personal all-time favorites, and it continues to stand the test of time.
