This was a hard one to choose to review. Why? Because it was a case of, "Go ahead, pick a story, any story!". I mean this author can WRITE!!! It was hard to decide to just pick one story and elaborate upon it.
Like so many other fans of any one, person, place or thing, we'd all like to meet the object of our 'desire' (not getting too intimate that is).
I, myself, would love to meet this author. I would love to know what their inspiration was. The 'Transdimensional Portals' series is, by far, one of the best sfi-fi works out there. Bar none! There's stuff on the SciFi channel that isn't this good. That could be a budget problem but, the fact remains I've seen stories on there that started off well and ended up going straight to hell from there.
They could take notes here and find out what it's like to have a story with a great premise. Written with a care and intelligence this series has to offer.
I'm not going into details here. To those of you who are old enough to remember such old delights as "Time Tunnel" which was a TV series back in the 60's on ABC and up to such stories as "StargateSG" or whatever the series was starring "McGiver" you'll 'see' the similarities in this series of stories.
But that's where the talent of this author leaves those stories behind. These stories take there time in developing and some of them even 'interweave' to make the plot more compelling and give the story a sense of continuity.
I strongly recommend reading the whole series as it stands now and also reading the other works by this author.
If you're a scifi/mindcontrol/timetravel/transdimensional kind of fan, you'll dig the hell out of this series!

p.s. Don't waste your time looking for a stroke story here. You'll definitely be disappointed. That's not to say there is no sex or sexual situations. It's just not the focus.
