I have a sneaking suspicion that the author has been hurt by someone they were close to. The story was great until the last few paragraphs.

The story is not coded correctly which is a major annoyance factor of mine. If I wanted to be depressed I can find plenty of that in life. I avoid stories like this, if they are properly coded for just that reason.

Technically the story was well written, the plot believable, up until the end, and characters realistic. It may well appeal to a number of readers, just be aware that the codes are incomplete and misleading.
