A thief living his whole life at night and in the dark is offered a deal. Steal evidence from worse criminals and become a noble in the daylight. Only it is not as simple as it sounds, the constable making the deal is bent and the criminals are cannibals and waiting for him.

I rated this story "very good" . I just re-read it and liked it again. Like most of the stories where the author uses this pseudonym it is short and the last paragraph recounts years of what happens to the hero of the story.
It has some sex, thoroughly described. Almost magical thefts of objects and information. There are similarities to most of the authors other stories. If you like them you probably will like this one.
The author uses Kenneth Hammond for his longer stories. Not surprisingly they are even higher rated than these short ones. I have rated all the items I get to rate as an 8. Very good. An A using high school scoring. 9 is an A+ and 10 is very rare.
Read the story. Read a lot of them, you will like them. I do.
