Richard Gerald has created a love story in two parts, "When" is the first story, and "What" is the story for this review.
You meet Greg Shelley in a romantic situation with his new wife, Patty-Ann Shelley. His wife is explaining to Greg that she owns his body. But that Greg does not own any part of her. Greg is a typical nerd in every way possible, a nerd with a severe inferiority complex who always is waiting for the other shoe to drop and his wife to go to greener pastures. After Patty-Ann becomes pregnant, a completely different situation develops; she gets enormous!
The story revolves around these issues and the surprising ending. I recommend reading "When" and then jumping right into "What." With a tremendous amount of forethought going into the stories, they are well worth spending time reading.
