She almost didn't go buy the dildo. It was too embarrassing. What if a someone she knew saw her at that store? But frustration drove her on and she took a dildo home. She used it just once and then, while confessing that shame to her best friend, hysteria and panic struck and she stumbled into traffic. When she woke, old, timid, ashamed Claire was gone. All she wanted was to be happy, and amnesia gave her a new start. But there were hurdles to be jumped. Such as someone trying to kill her.

I sometimes wonder how many hours a week Mr. Lubrican sits at his keyboard. He does have a prodigious output. How does he find time to think up all his plots, with their clever twists and turns, as well as actually writing them? Is he really a woman and multi-tasks, thinking and plotting whilst pounding the keyboard?
One thing is certain. Mr. Lubrican never lets us, his readers, down. His stories are always impeccably written, using good American English (I do prefer English English but that is a personal prejudice) with well constructed sentences. There is never a 'I wonder what he means here' moment in one of his stories.
Add the facts that his characters are well drawn and could be real people, his plots are always interesting, the dialogue is never stilted and one has a good story.
This one is a little different in subject matter from his norm, which has resulted in a fresh appearing story, interesting sub plots and......well no, I not going to tell you about the ending. Read it and find out for yourself. I promise you, it will be worth it.
