Let's address the technical first. Excellent wordsmithing. Either the author is excellent at proofreading or his editor is. In either case, kudos.

Storywise, it was disappointing. Not enough support for the main conflict -- the wife's infidelity, and the resolution. This story promised more and delivered a very disappointing conclusion. Abrupt and not fully justified.

Kudos for the premise of the story, though.
