Zack Masters, PI — A Universe from the Mind of Barry James

Zack is returning from the Vietnam War to follow in his dad's footsteps as a private investigator, and to see if his childhood sweetheart could be the true love of his life. His first case would prove to be a greater challenge than expected. This story was written as part of a challenge to honor the style of Mickey Spillane and his Hammer character. I'm no Mickey, for sure, but I hope my offering is enjoyable.
