Fictional War Story told from the point of view of a young soldier who volunteered to fight in Afghanistan. It starts with some background of 2 soldiers who have know each other from childhood. There is a bit of information of the Squad one soldier is assigned to. There is an overview of much of the deployment. Much of this story depicts a brief engagement from the narrator's perspective. this Fictional story is loosely based on actual events. this is part of a larger story I will post later.

A young soldier's adventures

In a quiet Indian village, Meera lives with her father-in-law, Bhairav Singh. He’s a retired soldier. Her husband, Karan, serves in the army. One day, everything changes. Officers arrive with heartbreaking news. Karan has died in action. After the funeral, Meera finds a diary of Bhairav, his secrets buried deep.

Corporal Harry Hamlin has just been promoted to Sergeant and put in charge of a Squad of Paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne Division on the 16th of December 1944. Unbeknownst to him this is the first day of what will be known as the Battle of the Bulge. Christmas is only 8 days away; Harry and his fellow paratroopers may gain a better appreciation of the little things in life. But they will have to survive fierce combat and the coldest winter in a hundred years!

A Jewish girl hiding from the Gestapo and a wounded German soldier save each other's lives before the soldier is ordered to Normandy to await the Allied invasion. The story is multimedia, so when music is mentioned, you can copy the web address of the music video, and pase it to a command line.

This third and final book of the trilogy is set in the European Theater of World War Two and it covered the period of 1939 to 1945. Our Time traveling hero is hard at work trying to smooth the rough edges of history without creating a conundrum and he is seeing the reality of history without any bias from opinionated so called experts of the period.
