The story of Jack Mathews and his marriage and adventures with Shirley began. This book continues with the story of Jack and Shirley and their community, Preservation, as well as continuing the story of Protection.
In 1870, Bob Harris buys a mule. He is a bounty hunter, and the mule replaces his horse. This is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek story, so don't take it too seriously. The story was suggested by a great friend of mine until she died, Ada, a mule. The story is short, but I had fun with it. Five chapters.

All the women are beautiful and smart.The men are handsome, macho, and have big xxxxx. The bad guys are despicable. A love story with just enough sex and violence to make it X-rated.
