Violent Stories

A story in WriterMick's The Cheaters Universe
This is the full version of a flash story I posted about two years ago. I was not able to post the flash and the whole stories, so you only get the full version. I have not entered all of the categories because some are minor and don't affect the story. And I didn't want to give it away.

A colonization fleet headed for Spica IV meets with disaster. Only a few humans survive the catastrophe. One of the survivors is a Space Marine who takes charge of finding any other living people and begins to repopulate the human part of the fleet. They meet hostile humans and hostile aliens. This is how they keep going as permanent residents of space.

Max hasn't noticed much since his wife Abigail was murdered. When he comes to the aid of one of Abigail's former students, he finds that the whole town has changed in ways he wouldn't have believed if he didn't see them himself.

A Mat Sullivan and Sarah York story
Hank Prescott and Bill Jones are bounty hunters in New Mexico Territory. They are successful, but they take a slightly skewed approach. For example, Hank hates horses, so he drives a buckboard pulled by a mule named Ada. Join Hank and Bill in their efforts to have some fun cleaning the riff-raff from NMT and making a little money while they're at it.

A Swarm Cycle Story
Being a volunteer in a town that hates the Confederacy is not a good thing. Being in a Mall when things boil over is much more dangerous.

Darien believes Sally is cheating on him and plans his revenge.

Even at the end he was not sure if his cheating wife knew the entire plan. In any event, she could not anticipate what was going to happen.

Darice and Reba throw a BBC party at the expense of Janet. The world becomes a harsh place for the Three BBC's and the Two sluts. (I tried to hit all the Categories that might show up in the story)

Cindy was the only woman who ever meant anything to Howard, but she was gone. He'd met others who reminded him of her, but things always ended the same way. Then he helps Betsy out of a tight spot and she goes home with him... but can their relationship survive? ***Warning*** This is a DARK story. It's not happy and light. It's gritty and full of not-so-nice things. Really. Trust me.

A ghost story, Krosis-style. A little early for Hallowe'en. Actually, it's just REALLY late for last Hallowe'en!
