This story takes place in gold rush era California. It is a Western which is an unabashed ripoff of Richard Boone's TV series "Paladin." Our hero rights the wrongs of California, for a price.

In this true story a mostly good man does a few horrible things; including infidelity, incest, and murder. Starts with Bruce deciding if he should join the Marines or Army near the start of World War 2. Names of the people involved have been changed for obvious legal and privacy reasons.

CAUTION! This is a very dark story with an ugly ending. It's pretty damn sick if I'm honest. There's no love or romance at all in this black tale of cheating, deceit and revenge. My wife was killed and my stepdaughter hurt in an auto accident; some guy I'd never heard of was driving them at the time. Turned out that my son and I hadn't ever really known the two women who'd been in our lives for the past eight years. In the end, everybody lost.

A former world champion body builder is being blackmailed and seeks help from a private detective agency. As the detective solves her problem they fall in love. But will her 'on-stage' personality, The Lioness, permit this relationship.
