This is a story in my file that I forgot to submit. I was going to put it with the all ages folder for young adult readers but decided against it because it is somewhat violent and has a sad ending.
A celebrity is killed and the police are running the investagation. Who killed him and why? Read the story to find out. Could be a lot more catagories but I don't want to give the story away.
A Superior Replicator Story (1) This story is the aftermath of the destruction of Earth's economic system by aliens. They gave us all a replicator. It did not take long for all economies to collapse, and humanity became a hell-hole of warring factions. This is the story of one teenage boy who led the way back to rationality. In the process, he became the nearest thing to God that a human could manage. 10 chapters.
Jeff and Julie, 17-year-old highschoolers, are transported back to Earth, circa 250 MILLION BC! This was the time of giant insects and long before dinosaurs. This is the story of their struggle for survival against 10-foot scorpions and 14-foot praying mantises. These insects really existed; this is no fantasy! Join them as they cope with a real "Land of the Giant Insects."
Young Joe Hoover was out in the desert one day testing a USAS-12 combat shotgun. On his way back to his car he walked through a small dust storm. Somehow, he was transported to the Wild West with the shotgun in his hand. He fought with Indians, bandits, and the KKK to maintain his life and love. This is the story of how he survived and wed the love of his life in Arizona Territory.
This is the story of the shaman, Glade, and her apprentice, Ivory. It is the tale of two women's lives in Ice Age Europe and Africa. Life in the Ice Age isn't easy. It isn't only due to the frozen climate in which Mammoths and Cave Lions thrive where humans struggle to survive. There are people from the Mammoth Hunters' tribe and beyond who are keen to take advantage of a shaman from another land and an apprentice who is as yet innocent of the ways of the world.
This is the story of John Edwards, a fighter pilot in WW1, his combat experiences, and his romance with Connie Butler, a Red Cross worker. Most of the story involves a little-known, but very important, battle against the German observation balloons. John's favorite method of attack came from my imagination, but it could have worked and made a difference in the war. Every infantryman in WW1 had nothing but praise for the guts of the balloon busters.
A short little story about living in a small town. Two young sisters, tossed out by their dad, try to make it on their own. The younger girl gets seduced by a low-life and her sister comes looking for her. Will she find her in time?
