True Story Stories

These are memories of my 45 years working in the Electric Power Field. Mostly as an Electric Journeyman Lineman climbing and building power lines across America. Traveling Linemen were called "Tramps". Many of my expressions, terms, tool names and actions are used only in the Lineman Trade. I will try to explain them as I go and try not to interrupt the stories. (Which, by the way, are mostly true)

True story of my last ride that happened in the Philippines. Well, maybe not my last ride...

This story was told to me by Joanie who, with her sister Katie went looking for lust in the wrong place. Happening into a biker bar they get more than they bargained for. Kidnapped by the "Wrecking Crew" they become reluctant weekend "guests" of the gang, being initiated into the Wrecking Crew Auxiliary, a group of 100 plus girls that, over the years, underwent the rigorous initiation by Bull, Riff and their West Texas Hog Club. In early 2015, I was working as a traveler. This frequently put me on aircraft. When you are waiting for your connecting flight, and your laptop batteries have long since given up the ghost, well, you people watch. One woman caught my eye, on one flight, and this is the fantasy story of our fantasy liaison. Remember, everybody! It's a fantasy!
