AnneMarie stood on the middle level of the garden deck. Some guests walked on by. Others stopped to offer congratulations. On the the level above her Andrew Benson visited with his friends and associates. She had felt his eyes on her for most of the afternoon, yet when she looked at him, his attention seemed elsewhere.

It is primarily a story of love and unusual relationships, and there is a good deal of sex, but probably no 'scary codes'. It starts fairly slow and the first two chapters are a bit sad.
