A short, about a certain development in sexual experimentation in the future. Zero actual sex but it's all about sex, and very sexually 'charged' I would say. I don't pretend it's a classic or epic action or side-splitting humourous story, and it might not be your 'thing' but it's literate, researched and thought-out and contains an interesting concept. If you're going to give it a score of 3 or 4, you must be a smart reader, so at least take the trouble to give me an intelligent reason why.

The funeral parlor was a large operation. They processed dozens of bodies every week for final resting places. Some were cremated and didn't need the heavy duty cosmetic work to make them look presentable. Sometimes the dirty and hard work had certain benefits when pretty young female corpses were stretched out on top of the metal tables like slabs of meat ready for a night worker with a yen for the ultimate submissiveness possible.

Humanity has a different and peculiar sexual structure. Sex might make a couple form a bond, which means they share in each other's feelings and thoughts, enhancing sex and creating a sense of closeness. Everyone needs one bond, but no one can have more than two. If your mate has a bad secret, a bond can be painful. The story explores the resulting complexities.
