To conserve resources, people spend most of their time asleep, often awakening just long enough to procreate. Then Jason is found to have a gene which makes him the preferred father for every new baby. 'How do I fuck thee? Let me count the ways.' Emotional positions, not physical.

The humanoids on a distant planet are quite like us, but also have some notable differences. The ambassador from the planet shares a tale from his youth. He is enticed into a tent on a summer afternoon by two young females, and under their influence he quickly discovers his taste for the immature members of the other sex.
