A story in the Zora's Aurora Universe
This is a summary of the Zora's Aurora universe. It contains a character list and a description of the universe in which the Zora's Aurora stories are based. It's not necessary to read this summary before reading the stories, although it will provide context. I will update this summary as needed.

Jeff Huston somehow gets flipped back to 1877 in southern New Mexico Territory. He finds that his training as a Marine sniper in Iraq does him a world of good as he lives his new life in the midst of the Indian Wars. His old hobby of Cowboy Shooting is just icing on the cake. The only dialect is in some of the dialogue. This story is in answer to requests for another time-travel Western.

Elizabeth and her dad move to the far north of Canada. She finds a world that’s more beautiful than she ever imagined, with people that know what it means to be a ‘community’. When her new home is threatened, she takes matters into her own hands and things get very hot, very fast.

A story in the The Human Nexus Universe
One night between midnight and six AM Eastern, most of the people of the world died. No one knew why; there was no warning; they simply stopped. Some survived to live a few extra hours or days. In the USA, this meant that most folks died in their beds. Streets, roads, and bridges remained mostly open. In other parts of the world, the timing was such that the visible carnage was horrendous. For the dead, neither situation mattered a whit. After a week, humanity was dead - all but a very few.
