Mary Jerkins hired Marla Tanner as a part-time on-premises representative for the Absolute Arms condo complex. The complex, originally a hotel, now consists of four interconnected buildings with various apartment types. Marla lives in one of the studio units as the live-in manager. Andrew Adams, a skilled plumber, and electrician, works as the on-site handyman. Marla's boyfriend, Brad, is the water safety instructor and lifeguard for the pool area.
