A Nexus Story (4)
This is the introduction piece for a series to come called Nexus Interludes. It will be a series of short stories that occur shortly after Nexus Evolution but are meant to be stand-alone. The stories can be read in any order. Of course, reading the entire Nexus series first would give you a fuller frame of reference. I intend these to be fun and a little more spicy than I usually write, but I also want to add detail to the Nexus Universe. Stand by for more!

An old Hobo protects and teaches a new kid a few tricks of the road and the rails and resolves to quit his search for his 'Hobo's Paradise', and perhaps make one for himself instead in a place of opportunity in Lovett County. The story has virtually no sex and none that is graphic.

A character-driven romance: Ben befriends his new neighbor Molly. She admits to being gay; nonetheless their friendship blossoms into a deep, platonic love. Molly begins to express curiosity about a physical relationship with him, but Ben is reluctant to accomodate her. After an experience that shakes her to her core and forces her to re-think her assumptions on life and love, Molly and Ben pledge and consummate their love. Then, a lesbian flame surfaces and Molly finds her affection divided. / (Reviews)
