Captain Tom Davis met Laurel, his neighbor's little girl, who was out walking her doll Betty. She'd gone around the corner and he took her back to where he Mom was out looking for her. It only increased his deep feelings for both Laurel and her Mom Sherry. He was there also, when there was a real problem and proved a help.
