After the New Year's Eve party that Julia and her husband had hosted, Julia stumbled drunk into the family room where her son Joey was sitting on the couch. Her husband was passed out in another room. Julia convinced Joey to dance with her, but soon the way she felt and smelled overwhelmed him. Joey's hands and lips began to roam over his mother, and in her inebriated state, she lacked the judgment needed to stop him.
It wasn't until after her sister Grace agreed to look after Teddy that Angie told her that he was addicted to video games. Grace wasn't too worried though: she was pretty sure she had some ways to lure her nephew away from his console.
How far should a mother go to help her son learn the ropes of dating? That is the question I faced. Going on a practice "date" with him seemed like a good idea. I never expected where it would actually lead. Read and find out how far I went.
